This training
constitutes an alternative to our "Merging Leaders Integrated Development
Programme". While its aims are close to the later, its methodological approach
is substantially different. We invite you to compare their methods, should you
think this useful. High-Potentials need to be identified and given more complex
assignments in order to keep them « in good shape », to retain them
and to prepare them to become the Senior Leaders or Executives of your
organisation. Athough they would have already received training in People or
Team Management, they need to expand their awareness of their personal SWOT
with respect to their present or future challenges. They also need to find ways
to identify their untapped potential, their potential derailers and limitations
and to start working on their development areas.
Objectives
At the end of
this training programme, participants will have received the following:
- A unique
opportunity to expand their awareness of their personal SWOT.
- A better
understanding of what is expected of them as they get into the Leadership
Pipeline or Succession planning of their organisation.
- The occasion
to share best practices relating to how to manage derailment factors, use their
strengths and untapped potential and continue developing all along their career
path.
- The workshop leads
to the creation of a Personalized Leadership Development and Action Plan.
Methods
A third of the
programme is dedicated to expanding awareness of self and others using an
online personality test in order to have discussions around each participant's
personal profile. The trainer facilitates discussions around 5 themes: Problem
Solving & Decision-making, Communication & Relations, Emotions &
Drives, Leadership Style and Awareness of Self & Others. The second third
of the programme deals with better understanding each participant's personal
SWOT with respect to their (new) stakes. At the end of the programme,
participants build a Development & Action Plan on the basis of their SWOT.
The seminar includes "Building awareness through reflexion and exchanges"
sessions, discovering the results of a test, challenging self and others,
practical plans.
